The Inverter air conditioner E1 Error Code how to fix.

Basic step for E1 error code,
One of the main problems in the inverter air conditioner is E1 or communication error, Indoor/Outdoor

The most common reason for an E1 error code to be displayed on your air conditioner's front panel is to remind you,that the unit's air filter needs to be cleaned,

Many models will automatically notify you of this via an E1 error code display after the unit  has been operated for a predetermined numbers of ours.for example,many sharp models will dispaly an E1 code after 720 hours of use.

Alternatively,you could have dirt,or moisture in your front button controls,cousing them to stick or not function properly,this can be a common problem with many models air conditioners,but  the issue is not restricted to any one

manufacturer.your air conditioner could also have a defective thermistor,which is part of the thermostat

Step 1

if the error code was reminder to clean the air filter,then disconnect power and clean the air filter.

Step 2

If the error code was becouse the front button controls are dirty and sticking or wet and not functioning properly,disconnect power and repair them by cleaning and drying with can of compressed air.

Step 3

If the thermistor is suspect,have it serviced by a technician.working on the interior components of an air conditioner  can be potentially dangerous and should be performed by a qualified professional.

Step 4

After servicing is complete,the E1 error code can now be cleared and the air conditioner put back into use.

• If you air conditioner has a reset button,simply press that.
• If you air conditioner does not have reset button,then first disconnect power.
• Hold down the on/off button and plug the air conditioner back in.it will go through a short test sequence,then you will hear a beep and the air conditioner will shutdown.

• disconnect the power again in release the on/off  button.
• plug the power back in and turn the air conditioner on.

If the E1 error is still displaying,then you will need to disconnect power.hold down the mode button and  plug the air conditioner  back in.

When you hear a beep,release the button and the air conditioner will begin to operate.press the on/off button to turn the air conditioner off.
Press the on/off button again to turn the air conditioner on.

if your air conditioner is equipped with a remote control,you can some times use the remote to operate the unit even if you are unable to clear the E1 code.
